Sharing my birth story of releasing control, surrendering to a change of plans, and accepting that the beautiful, natural birth that I dreamed of was not going to happen as I envisioned… I hope that my journey will empower other mamas and also help you realize that in birth and in life in general, things will often not go as planned. We may not get what we hoped for or what we want so badly. Release the blame, guilt, and shame. Choose to be strong, forgiving, and resilient. Lean on loved ones and trusted, experienced practitioners for support, education and guidance.
